quote.pngI finished university a year ago. I would like to make career in Woodcote at some point, but right now I am happy where I am. Every day is different and having great colleagues is a fantastic bonus. I like the direct contact with customers, and I learn something new and useful every day.

Woodcote

Woodcote is the name of DT Group's chain of builders' merchants and special stores in Central and Eastern Europe.

Woodcote was founded in 1992 in the Czech Republic as a result of the lack of good quality building materials available in Eastern Europe. Woodcote opened its first builder’s merchant in 1992 with the ambition of establishing a chain across several countries in Central and Eastern Europe. This was achieved from 1995 to 2000, as Woodcote opened new stores in Slovakia (1996), Poland (1997), Hungary (1998) and Romania (1999).

In 2006, Woodcote was acquired by Wolseley plc, and, in 2008, Woodcote became part of the DT Group. The Prague-based headquarters controls outlets across all 5 European countries.

Woodcote’s core business is supplying interior systems, as well as insulation and external insulation systems. The Woodcote customers are professionals, mainly interior specialists and installation contractors.
